What these terms cover
These terms apply to your use of this website. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Two other documents sit alongside these terms:
Booking Terms and Conditions apply when you hire from us. They govern the hire itself: payment, cancellation, delivery, the site, and the equipment. Where these website terms and the booking terms say different things about a hire, the booking terms apply.
Privacy Policy explains what we do with the information you give us through this site.

Quotes built on this website
The site lets you build a quote: choose a marquee, add hire items, and send the quote to us with your event date and venue. Please read this section carefully, because it says what a quote is and is not.
A quote sent through this website is an enquiry, not a booking. Nothing is reserved, nothing is paid, and no contract is made when you send it. We will contact you to talk through your event and to check the date against our diary. A booking exists only when we have confirmed it to you under the Booking Terms and Conditions.
The prices shown are our current prices, including VAT. They are the prices we expect to charge, but they are not an offer, and we may correct a price that is shown wrongly before we confirm your booking. If a price changes between your sending a quote and our confirming a booking, we will tell you before you commit to anything.
Some items are priced as a percentage of the marquee hire. Matting, lighting and similar extras show a percentage until a marquee is in your quote, and a figure in pounds after. The figure depends on the marquee, and on the canopy if you have added one, so it changes if you change either.
Delivery is not included in the quote total. The site shows delivery charges by road distance from Fakenham and, if you enter a postcode, an estimate of which band your venue falls in. The estimate is a guide. We confirm the delivery charge when we speak to you.
Sizes and capacities are a guide. The seated and standing figures for each marquee, and the sizes the site suggests for a number of guests, are there to help you choose. The right size for your event depends on your layout, your furniture, and what else goes inside, which we will discuss with you.
Availability is not shown on the site. Being able to add a marquee to a quote does not mean it is free on your date. We check that when you send the quote.
Using the site
You may use this website to find out about what we offer, to build and send a quote, and to contact us. You may not:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks these terms;
- enter information about someone else without their permission, or send a quote or a message that is not genuine;
- try to gain access to any part of the site, its server or its database that is not meant for visitors;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code, or attack the site in any way;
- copy the site’s content or data by automated means, or use it to build a competing service;
- copy, reproduce or republish any part of the site, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, without our written permission.
We may suspend or stop your access to the site if you break these terms.
Our content
The text, photographs, drawings and design of this site belong to Meraki Marquees Ltd or to the people who have let us use them. The Meraki Marquees name and logo are ours. You may print or save pages for your own reference, but you may not use any of it for a commercial purpose, or remove any notice of who owns it, without our permission.
Photographs of events and the words of customers shown on this site are used with permission. They may not be reused without it.
Links to other websites
The Partners page lists other businesses we work alongside, and links to their websites. We also link to our listing on Google and to other sites from time to time. Those sites are not ours. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their terms or how they handle your information. A link is not a recommendation unless we say so, and listing a partner does not mean we are responsible for what they supply.
Accuracy of this site
We take care to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that everything on it is complete, correct or current at the moment you read it. Photographs are for illustration; the marquee and the items you hire will be the ones described in your confirmed booking. Nothing on the site is advice on whether a marquee is suitable for a particular site, event or weather. We will discuss that with you before anything is booked.
Availability of the site
We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of faults. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice. If you have sent a quote and then cannot reach the site, email or ring us: your quote is stored and we will have received it.
Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for loss caused by anything beyond our reasonable control.
If you are a business, we exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise be implied into these terms, and we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, business, contracts, revenue or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by a virus or other harmful material that may infect your equipment or data as a result of your using the site or any site linked from it. You should use your own virus protection.
Your rights in relation to a hire are set out in the Booking Terms and Conditions and are not affected by this section.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. The terms in force when you use the site are the ones that apply.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there as well. If you are a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
